My husband has booked 2 tickets for us From NYC to Beijing-he goes there for business and I decided to go with him this time. And it is just that I actually found out that we would be traveling with Cathay Pacific and for I am the Cathay first timer flier I would appreciate any general info regarding this company. Thanks!

I am frequent Cathay Pacific flier and I never had a problem flying with them and it is been for years I am now flying with them. Statistically this company is one of the most safety airplanes; the service is great involving the meals provided there and what is the best they frequently are offering discounted flights and also those low cheap flights are very comfortable. Anyway I am over than 55 and since recently I am offered some great fares for flying with Cathay so if you are about to fly often to Asia I would always suggest you do it with Cathay for the flight prices are very common.
