I have booked a double cabin on the Carnival cruise line ship we are supposed to set off for cruising within next 4 weeks. And the thing is that I was booking this cabin without even thinking that there is a balcony cabin-and I booked one without balcony- and the thing is that my wife I pretty much disappointed with this booking and she would like to switch it with another cabin with balcony. So my question is actually-can you switch cabins if you are not satisfied?

You should check this out with your cruise line for it all depends on its policy but in general switching it for another cabin is almost always possible but only if there is any cabin left and you should know that it would be very possible you will be extra charged for those balcony cabins are usually slightly more expansive than those without balcony.
