Can I buy leather handcrafts in Agadez?

Hi
a couple of friends of mine and I have been planning to take a trip to Africa this fall and we would like to visit Niger. We would like to stay in Agadez. My girlfriend wants to get her leather handcrafts from there and I was wondering can I buy it there. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello,
a couple of friends of mine and I have stayed in Agadez for a couple of days last summer and among many other crafts we saw there, we saw many crafts made from leather so I am pretty sure you can make your girlfriend's wish come true. Have a nice stay there! bye

Hello,
you are absolutely right. Agadez is famous for its leather crafts. I bought many of them last year when visiting Niger. I think that you will be surprised with the diversity of leather arts and crafts. These people really know how to use leather! Have a great time there! Bye
