Im flying to Sri Lanka with Emirates and I have a stop-over for a few hours while waiting my next flight, and Im wondering if they have their own lounge at Colombo Airport. Does that mean that I can obtain certain benefits there for flying with them and what are they? Has anyone spent some time there? Thanks.

Hi. Emirates do have their own lounge at many airports worldwide and Colombo Airport is one of them. Ive never been there but my relatives have and they say its classy. I dont think you have any benefits there for flying with them, but I guess its enough to know that you can relax, eat excellent food (all types of cuisines) and enjoy a bubbly bath while you wait for your plane, without even leaving the airport building. For those who have urgent business, there is a business centre with free wireless internet access, not to mention changing facilities for babies. So, this seems there are quite a few benefits, even if theyre not free.
