To me having this Blyde canyon hiking is much better experience than having safari anyway you may refer to some good tour operator for they are the best at organizing Blyde Canyon hiking. I went on this Blyde Canyon hiking trails and we were concentrated in nature reserve and I was even driving horses and we even visited Kruger National Park where you may see wild animals. Anyway this park is also usual stop within a safari tour so actually by having a Blyde Canyon hiking you may experience what safari looks alike almost. We even had a guider that explains all about history, the river and geology regarding the area. I don't know how you are about to organize yourself but I would sincerely recommend you try to have an arrangement with Fairfield tours.
