Hello! I would like someone to help me find out if there is only one or more catamaran islands. As far as I know, it is located somewhere in Costa Rica where I plan to spend my holiday. I heard that the best adventure could be experienced at some catamaran island, but I still have a dilemma if it is a common or a proper noun if you know what I mean. If there are several catamaran islands, what is the best one?

Hello and welcome! I understand what you're trying to say. If Catamaran Island is a proper noun, it means that there is only one Catamaran Island in the world. If it is a common noun that means that there are many of them in the world. I heard of the one in Costa Rica, but I can tell for sure if it is unique. I heard that it is suitable for those seeking some adventure not only because you can go snorkeling and skiing on the water, but also because you can see some animals such as dolphins or have a face-to-face encounter with turtles or even whales. The water is clear there, so don't look for another Catamaran Island, if there is one.
