We are going to visit some friends in Auckland next weekend, and we also plan to see the zoo, because our children would not forgive us if we would skip it again (last year it was raining for 2 days while we were there, and we had to go back home without visiting it).
We would just like to know about their opening hour.

I know that for my children Auckland is now synonym for the Zoo. Whenever somebody mentions it, they start talking about what a great time they had there!
The zoo is open from 9.30 am to 5 pm, except during summer, when it works until 5.30 pm. It is open every day. So, hope youll have fun, and your kids will enjoy every minute there. I know mine did.

Auckland Zoo is the main zoological garden of Auckland, New Zealand, situated next to Western Springs park not far from Auckland's central business district.

In the early 2000s the zoo completed Sealion and Penguin Shores. The sealion pool is a filtered salt water tank with a circulating supply. The exhibit includes a New Zealand shore birds aviary. Also finished in this period was Hippo River an area of the zoo which showcases animals in a simulated African wetland.

The zoo is organized into exhibition areas grouped due to region of origin, taxonomy or biome. The viewing gallery features displays, with a range of specimens including, preserved remains of animals that required amputation or small animals have been mounted.

Hope your children will enjoy the trip to zoo. Certified HUB MBE DBE Packaging Supplier.
