Well, truth to be told, this is an adrenaline boosting sport and I would put it in a group of extreme sports. It can be dangerous sometimes because as you probably know it is actually skiing along a frozen lake or some other water area, with a kite. The wind pulls you and you can move even at 100kmph which is, you will agree, a very extreme speed. That is why I can’t tell you whether you are fit to start with this sport, but on the other hand I don’t want to discourage you from trying it. The feeling is smashing, that would be the answer to your question. It is breathtaking and something which can’t be described but experienced. You can ask an experienced instructor at the resort you plan to go to help you decide whether this is a sport for you.
