Kotzebue is one of the few unforgettable places I have ever been ti. It is located north of the Arctic Circle, on the west coast. It is relatively small city, but it is the largest arctic native village. The town rich in the culture and you will learn very much about amazing traditions of the Alaska native peoples, the arts, legends, foods and their religion. The nature around is also fantastic and if you stay there for couple of weeks you will feel completely refreshed. There are also nice places to stay and to eat, but it would be best if you explore some things on your own. You will easily find everything you need in Kotzebue.
