Hi! I have read recently some books about India, which attracts me very much, so I was thinking of visiting it, especially its northeast part - Rajasthan. I have information about it only from the books Ive read, but I would appreciate if someone could tell me more about the county itself out of his own personal experience. I know that the capital city there is Jaipur, and that great part of its territory is Indian (Thar) desert.

I was there during the summer and temperatures were around 45C then, so it is a difficulty. Rajasthan is a country that is flourishing with tourism. I saw the palaces of Jaipur, lakes of Udaipur, generally Jodhpur, Bikaner and Jaisalmer are the most visited tourist destinations both for the Indian and foreign tourists. The best way to travel throughout the country is by road. It is well covered by railways and bus network. The most time I spent in Ajmer. It is the sacred place for the Muslims and there is the famous mosque of Garib. It is interesting to see Nasiyan Temple colored in red and Taragarh Fort which has a huge historical importance.
