I was recently thinking about all the little known places I could visit on a holiday. I have a friend in Romania, Bucharest. He told me the place is good for holiday, but I would really need some advice from someone who has been there as a tourist. Should I go there, or not?

Hello! I have just returned from Bucharest. I have been to all the main tourist spots. The streets are not as clean, as, say in Paris, but the town is still very nice. Bucharest is a pretty vibrant and live city with plenty of things always going on. There is also plenty to see outside the city - the mountains, the vast vineyards and beautiful landscape overall. I was on an escorted tour and it was very pleasant, so I would strongly recommend you go to Bucharest. The pepole are very friendly and will always assist you if you need information about any location in the town. You will have good time you wont soon forget. Just beware of the rogue taxi drivers outside the airport, as they tend to highly overprice their fares.
